I was asked to make a quilt depicting Galveston for the silent auction of the Galveston county Salvation Army. They loved it at $550.

“In the Lake” – a look at THE lake – through the eyes of the fish. One lost hook for fisherman, one win for fish.

When you sit down to a dining room table, people on one side of the table end up looking at a wall. This wall hanging is made for that wall. Now, everyone can have a nice view to study. The quilting is so heavy that the wall hanging looks more like a tapestry.

In February of 2015, I was informed that this quilt will be pictured in the new 2016 Quilt Art Engagement Calendar. You can order one of these calendars from the American Quilter’s Society website. They are not printed yet, but will be ready for shipping in March, 2015.

The Sunset quilt was a raffle quilt for my church’s summer celebration in 2013. Partly because I sold over $250 worth of tickets alone, I know that the quilt brought in over $600. My challenge in this quilt was making the sunset shimmer over the water.
